Who are we looking for ?

A highly motivated and skilled Health Informatics Product Owner to join our R&D IT organization.
We would like you to drive IT projects and initiatives to advance the health informatics, outcomes research and real-world data (RWD) analytics capabilities, aligned with the Center for Observational and Real-world Evidence as well as other RWD users and stakeholders. This role will allow you to focus on consolidating enterprise-wide real-world evidence (RWE) needs and advance the analytics capabilities, value evidence generation and collaboration across both research and commercial divisions.

We will give you chance to:

• Utilize your domain knowledge of RWE, value-based medicine, health economics and outcomes research to translate business priorities and opportunities into business/technical requirements and user stories, and propose solutions to advance enterprise-wide RWE capabilities
• Drive the development of products and solutions that allow users to extract relevant insights from real-world data assets from a variety of sources, through the use of statistical programming environments, visualization tools and vendor-enabled analytics capabilities
• Represent the business priorities to provide guidance on task prioritization based on value for end users and stakeholders
• Be accountable delivering solutions with high quality standards, timeliness, compliance and excellent user experience
• Provide expert guidance on RWE tools and the RWE landscape related to the business value of alternative technologies and their ability to integrate with internal infrastructure and capabilities
• Engage with users and stakeholders to manage priorities and maintain engagement and incorporating feedback throughout the development lifecycle to ensure that products/solutions are fully aligned with expectations
• Participate in strategic initiatives and communities of practice, both within IT and with business partners in RWE and value-based medicine domains, establishing strong internal and external networks

Expected Qualification of yours :

Education and Skills Required
• Degree or advanced degree in Science, Engineering or Computer Science fields
Minimum Experience Required
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant business/technical analysis or product/project management experience
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in the Life Sciences

Skills/Knowledge Required:
• Knowledge of business processes and industry/market trends within the pharmaceutical R&D space, specifically as it relates to value-based medicine, real-world evidence and outcomes research
• Excellent business acumen, with proven ability to understand business processes in detail – both at global and region/country levels – and translate these into detailed business requirements and user stories
• Proven leadership and negotiation skills, along with good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English – both oral and written), along with the ability to communicate appropriately and confidently with colleagues from different backgrounds and seniority levels
• Excellent organizational skills, with ability to navigate a complex matrix environment and organize/prioritize work efficiently and effectively
• Self-motivation, proactivity and ability to work independently with minimum direction

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Preferred
• Degree or advanced degree in engineering, medical informatics, data science/analytics, (bio)statistics or related fields
• Knowledge of the RWE analytics scope (key RWD assets, software packages) and methodologies (descriptive statistics, cohort building, health economic modeling, patient- and population-level estimation, interactive visualization tools and treatment pathway analysis, etc.).
• Knowledge of database (SQL), RWD analytic methods and (statistical) programming tools

What Personal Information is used and how long is it retained?

Taleo* uses Personal Information such as your name, contact information and other information necessary for the application process. This information may be used by the Human Resources (HR) organization to contact you at any time during your candidacy for employment, to send you announcements, or request other types of information as required. Who will have access to Personal Information in Taleo and how will they protect it?

Access to Personal Information in Taleo is limited to you, HR Personnel and limited IT support personnel, based on specific security roles and standard data authorization as outlined for all HR applications. Additionally, some countries utilize third party recruiters that will also have access to the information you input into Taleo. Taleo is hosted by a third party vendor, Oracle, based in the United States. Oracle may also use additional third party vendors to process personal data. Oracle has contractually committed to protect Personal Information and to process it only as instructed by our company, including the destruction of the Personal Information at the end of the retention period. Oracle has certified its compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework for processing employee related Personal Information.
Access to Personal Information may be from within the country in which the individual to whom the data relates is based, or from any other country in which an authorized user of Taleo is based. While the country from which information is accessed may not have laws that protect Personal Information in the same way as the country in which you are based, all Personal Information in Taleo will be used in accordance with the Global Privacy Notice for Employment-Related purposes , any local privacy notices you receive, all applicable company policies with respect to the privacy and confidentiality of Personal Information, including, but not limited to our Global Privacy and Data Protection Policy and our Global Internet Privacy Policy and any additional requirements of the countries in which the employees to whom the data relate are based.

 

How do I update, correct or delete Personal Information in Taleo?

You have the right to access, rectify and delete your Personal Information that you provide and maintain in your Taleo Profile at any time. You can also request that the information be removed from our database by contacting the company’s Privacy Office. At any time you may decide no longer to use Taleo, raise a concern or make a complaint about your privacy or use or sharing of Personal Information about you by contacting the company’s Privacy Office.
