We are seeking a technical analyst within our IT organization for the Manufacturing Quality Laboratory Space. The position will be responsible for technical oversight of systems within the Lab space and will participate on the technical aspects of programs/projects under the direction of the Manufacturing Division IT Quality/Labs Lead within the area.


Position’s responsibilities:

  • Working on large, diverse development teams on global programs/projects
  • Supporting testing for assigned programs/projects, by writing or reviewing test scripts for completeness and accuracy
  • Supporting a large, global pharma manufacturing business.
  • Reviewing and writing Technical SDLC documents for assigned programs/projects; including, but not limited to, Design documents, UAT executions, change controls, trace matrix, risk assessments and release notes.
  • Performing and documenting Technical Impact Assessments.
  • Working with the Technical Lead, Program Management and Business to Plan, estimate and deliver on work effort estimates related to all development activities to ensure effective and efficient program execution.
  • Working with MSD support organization (AMS) to document/execute knowledge transitions and ensure a smooth transition to operations
  • Applying technical knowledge and experience to develop, deploy Lab systems within a Pharma manufacturing company.
  • Assisting in the prioritization of changes.
  • Working on automation opportunities for both technical and business processes
  • Reviewing User Requirements to ensure they sufficiently document the need for the technical team to proceed with functional design/development.
  • Reviewing Functional requirements to ensure they meet the business’ intent
  • Developing laboratory IT solutions based on functional requirements.
  • Assist with tier three support along with AMS when needed (troubleshoot, identify root cause and correct operational issues with installed laboratory IT systems). 

In order to be able to perform well in the role you shall have:

  • Education: MSc. Degree or BSc. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences or other relevant fields or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience with a minimum of 2 years of software development and deployment team for Laboratory/Shopfloor Manufacturing systems
  • Development and support of systems using a Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and identify appropriate processes and/or technological solutions.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work across a number of cultures

What Personal Information is used and how long is it retained?

Taleo* uses Personal Information such as your name, contact information and other information necessary for the application process. Taleo is hosted by a third party vendor, Oracle, based in the United States. Oracle may also use additional third party vendors to process personal data. Oracle has contractually committed to protect Personal Information and to process it only as instructed by our company, including the destruction of the Personal Information at the end of the retention period. Oracle has certified its compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework for processing employee related Personal Information.
Access to Personal Information may be from within the country in which the individual to whom the data relates is based, or from any other country in which an authorized user of Taleo is based. While the country from which information is accessed may not have laws that protect Personal Information in the same way as the country in which you are based, all Personal Information in Taleo will be used in accordance with the Global Privacy Notice for Employment-Related purposes , any local privacy notices you receive, all applicable company policies with respect to the privacy and confidentiality of Personal Information, including, but not limited to our Global Privacy and Data Protection Policy and our Global Internet Privacy Policy and any additional requirements of the countries in which the employees to whom the data relate are based.

 

How do I update, correct or delete Personal Information in Taleo?

You have the right to access, rectify and delete your Personal Information that you provide and maintain in your Taleo Profile at any time. You can also request that the information be removed from our database by contacting the company’s Privacy Office. At any time you may decide no longer to use Taleo, raise a concern or make a complaint about your privacy or use or sharing of Personal Information about you by contacting the company’s Privacy Office.
