You will be responsible for “product management” of database platform(s) which fall into EIM platform. In details, it means following:


Role Overview:

  • Designs and develops data transformation solutions using EIM design best practices.
  • Analyze data requirements, and the data model, and determine the best methods in data transforming through all layers of the Integrated Data Warehouse.
  • Check market trends, provided functionalities, new use cases for   and provides Sr. Specialist – Data Warehouse Architect with proper information to contribute to development of overall portfolio of the platform technologies.
  • Supports the Teradata UDI including development and enhancement of the templates.
  • Supports the Teradata PDC enhancements.
  • Supports the SAP Powerdesigner checks automatization and enhancements.
  • Provides support of competency and project teams and analysts in terms of education and training of proper usage of the Teradata PDC and UDI
  • Contributes to set up best practices and rules for development upon database platforms of EIM to leverage the database platforms capabilities
  • He/She is communicating & collaborating, and driving decision making across a complex, global organization
  • Ensures alignment of proposed designs and solutions in context with other IT/IS organization units as well as with business requirements

Service Delivery:

  • Supports Sr. Specialist – Data Warehouse Architect in consultation and recommendation of the solution design and architecture based on business requirements in order to leverage capability of technologies in the most optimal and efficient way
  • Supports/suggests/check optimal (in terms of response time and cost) configuration and sizing of a database platform, UDI and PDC based on project scope and requirements
  • Participates in Proof of Concepts in terms of validation of proper use cases related to database platforms, PDC and UDI


Support and Operation:


  • Monitors usage of tools and checks HW/SW utilization in order to preparation of information necessary for capacity planning and definition of roadmap of development of database platforms as the support of the Sr. Specialist – Data Warehouse Architect role.
  • Analyses workload of PDC, use cases run upon it and based on these analyses provide Senior Specialist – Data Warehouse Architect with proper information regarding capacity planning of database platforms
  • Cooperates with infrastructure and AMS departments to ensure that existing tools are properly set up and configured

Required Experience and Skills:


  • Possesses strong tactical skills as well as excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Analyzes current conditions and clearly defines problems and opportunities. Must be able to work independently and enable/facilitate productive and business-like meetings
  • Must be able to work with individuals at all levels and demonstrate a level of professionalism that instills confidence and inspires trust
  • Ability to achieve goals through others without having direct responsibility for them is critical.  Strong communication and change management
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment and thorough understanding of the System Development Life Cycle for computerized systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Teradata SQL code development, PERL or Groovy 


Preferred Experience and Skills:


  • The candidate should have 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in Teradata SQL code development, Teradata physical database design, Perl or Groovy development. Additional experience with one or more of following technologies: Teradata UDI, SAP PowerDesigner, Teradata PDC is a plus

Oracle has contractually committed to protect Personal Information and to process it only as instructed by our company, including the destruction of the Personal Information at the end of the retention period. Oracle has certified its compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework for processing employee related Personal Information.
Access to Personal Information may be from within the country in which the individual to whom the data relates is based, or from any other country in which an authorized user of Taleo is based. While the country from which information is accessed may not have laws that protect Personal Information in the same way as the country in which you are based, all Personal Information in Taleo will be used in accordance with the Global Privacy Notice for Employment-Related purposes , any local privacy notices you receive, all applicable company policies with respect to the privacy and confidentiality of Personal Information, including, but not limited to our Global Privacy and Data Protection Policy and our Global Internet Privacy Policy and any additional requirements of the countries in which the employees to whom the data relate are based.

 

How do I update, correct or delete Personal Information in Taleo?
