Position Overview         

 

Brand & Customer Manager leads their therapeutic area and are able to engage all internal and external stakeholders with their passion and vision. Inspire their coworkers in order to propose best possible solutions and achieve best possible results. Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Collect customer insights and run market analysis for a clear understanding of the market landscape, customers and competitors
  • Lead cross functional teams in respective therapeutic areas  
  • Develop and execute brand strategy based on inputs from all parts of organization as well as market insights
  • Create tactical plans and customer solutions (including digital marketing) based on agreed strategy
  • Calibrate KPIs and delivering upon them
  • Forecasting accurately
  • Monitor sales performance and track expenses according to budget
  • Deliver brand communication assets and key solutions towards all critical customers and stakeholders exploiting all critical f:f and digital channels

 

Support access to our products in the market by developing MSD solutions in close collaboration with Market Access, Trade Channel, KAMs or any other relevant teams

 

 

Major Activities              

 

Strategy alignment

  •  Gives strategic input based on the local environment and customer to the cluster team on customer strategy, brand strategy, key account strategy, MCM/Blended rep strategy
  • Develops a high understanding of the customers and stakeholders related to the brand: collects and collates customers’ needs, understands competitive environment and existing influence networks. Analyzes local market trends and identifies commercial opportunities for our brands
  • Adapts and aligns the regional brand plan to local needs delivering an country brand strategy and tactical plan, based on MCBM principles, in collaboration with the cross-functional team. Defines all activities and customer solutions needed and makes sure they are aligned with strategy. He/she monitors closely execution with all appropriate KPIs and is the one managing budget allocated to these activities.  Delivers and monitors forecasting for all financial cycles of the company aiming at high accuracy levels.

 

Stakeholder engagement

  • Engages and inspires different internal stakeholders around the implementation of the brand strategy: i.e. drives/coordinates internal sales cycle and team meetings and provides business input in planning of advisory boards/external customer meetings, leads brand team meetings
  • Inspires sales force to be fully engaged towards brand strategy and customer solutions implementation
  • Rolls out regionally and locally developed customer solutions via the relevant stakeholders (e.g. KAMs, sales force): development of tools and services, training, tracking, etc.
  • Acts as in-country point of contact for all above market internal marketing stakeholders
  • Works with Scientific Leaders and other stakeholders in close collaboration with Medical Affairs (e.g., advisory boards/congresses), KAM, account/customer leads

 

Innovation

  • Identifies opportunities to optimize brand growth and profitability, aligns cross functional teams on priorities and provides all key input to sales and demand forecasting while allocating expenses budget appropriately. Monitoring sales performance and tracking expenses according to budget is critical part of the role
  • Delivers brand communication assets and key solutions towards all critical external customers and stakeholders, through all possible channels deploying an integrated MCM plan on top of the sales force interaction

 

Timely adjusts brand value propositions and customer solutions based on strong customer feedback and /or brand performance results


 

Expertise Required / Core Competences  

Education & Experience / Skills:

 

  • Minimum: University (economy, business or scientific) Master degree
  • Minimum: 2-5 years commercial/marketing experience, brand experience will be an asset
  • Field experience is an asset
  • English business proficient and local language
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong business and financial understanding

What Personal Information is used and how long is it retained?

Taleo* uses Personal Information such as your name, contact information and other information necessary for the application process. Additionally, some countries utilize third party recruiters that will also have access to the information you input into Taleo. Taleo is hosted by a third party vendor, Oracle, based in the United States. Oracle may also use additional third party vendors to process personal data. Oracle has contractually committed to protect Personal Information and to process it only as instructed by our company, including the destruction of the Personal Information at the end of the retention period. Oracle has certified its compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework for processing employee related Personal Information.
Access to Personal Information may be from within the country in which the individual to whom the data relates is based, or from any other country in which an authorized user of Taleo is based. While the country from which information is accessed may not have laws that protect Personal Information in the same way as the country in which you are based, all Personal Information in Taleo will be used in accordance with the Global Privacy Notice for Employment-Related purposes , any local privacy notices you receive, all applicable company policies with respect to the privacy and confidentiality of Personal Information, including, but not limited to our Global Privacy and Data Protection Policy and our Global Internet Privacy Policy and any additional requirements of the countries in which the employees to whom the data relate are based.

 

How do I update, correct or delete Personal Information in Taleo?

You have the right to access, rectify and delete your Personal Information that you provide and maintain in your Taleo Profile at any time. You can also request that the information be removed from our database by contacting the company’s Privacy Office. At any time you may decide no longer to use Taleo, raise a concern or make a complaint about your privacy or use or sharing of Personal Information about you by contacting the company’s Privacy Office.
